Tuesday, May 23, 2006 - Chopsticks - Woot. its official. im gonna put any sunburnt, moulting-season snake to shame. My face isnt short of little flakes of burnt skin falling like the november snow in Europe. ARGH... damn sun.. waaaaaaaaaay too hot.. i poked my head out and it insisted on leaving me a souvenior on saturday. Well, camp seems ok. Went to school after service on friday. Seemed like i missed out on seeing leonard dressed up as a girl.. lol... according to him, he even had to carry his "boobs" to prevent them from dropping.. lol.. Hm.. was a Rather eventful night.. Seemed to have kneed Jie in the a**... woops... SRY JIE!!! >.< Im really what the malays call tidor mati : "To sleep like the dead" Couldnt help it.. was tossing and turning to find myself a comfortable position.. Was REAL tired by the time i could find a comfy position.. According to jie, i was like a leech.. lol... constantly moving towards the warmth. Awoke the next morning to the fresh cold morning air... First time i saw the field set so early in the morning.. haha.. my first impression was some crazy bugger set up board to shoot over night.. lol.. Had PT next.. Felt good running in the morning.. Played tennis next with jie, ahmad and leo.. in which the latter sent the ball flying out of court, and onto the bus stop outside.. haha.. reminded me of what i was like when i first started.. Next was the coaching session.. hm.. had feedback i added too much detail and bored everyone to sleep.. i think it was more of exhaustion than anything else.. lol.. Damn that sun.. I looked like a lobster.. no correction. even a boiled lobster would even envy my LOVELY shade of hue. Went for service at NCC on sunday.. managed to bring dad along for his first service there.. was hoping he might be able to enjoy the service there and Praise the Lord, he definitely did. First time i've seen slaining also.. Truly felt the dwelling of the holy spirit within me during the whole process. The peace i felt at the end of the service.. Fantastic... Nothing beats the fulfilment the Lord gives me! Jie, are u free this sunday? if u are, haha.. i think u know what im about to ask you.. =) Just consider it kz? ur bro here aint gonna force you.. =) I just bore witness to another of The Lord's miracle yesterday. i shant list the details here for its too long.. and hard to explain the magnificent ways the Lord performs his work.. Well, thats about it for now... Its back to mugging for the 3 tests next week. Saturday, May 06, 2006 - Chopsticks - Well, what a day.. really had fun at archery. Managed to group well even tho it was at 10m.. haha.. real ego booster. Had fun with the mini compy.. next week, 30m compy! haha.. Yea.. Jie and i were trashing the rest lol.. XP Feels damn good now.. Form seems to be working right finally.. Woot! Leaving everything in God works wonders.. i left my crappy shooting form in his hands if u all are wonderin.. And he makes what is Natural, Supernatural. My God is a Good God!! haha.. Hm. Batam trip was rather useful i'll say. Helped alot in techniques of singing.. hope the choir benefitted. Most imptly, i think, was that i learnt the purpose of a choir. it isnt to sing well to awe the audience. Its to become that golden bridge that will link the congregration's Spirit to the Lord to receive his blessing. Learnt to hand everything to the Lord. I live each day with no worries, knowing that he is the captain of my salvation. haha.. Many people have been telling me that i sound like a priest.. LoLz.. Well, no harm in praising my Lord to the highest right? For only through The cross of Jesus Christ shall we receive Life. And Life More Abundantly. How can i forget i got dead drunk too? (Well, according to frens and eye witness reports that is. the author still inisits he wasnt drunk) 1 barcadi coke, 1 long island tea and 1 tequilla shot. That was all it took to kill me.. haha, Face was red as a baboon's ass. Couldnt walk in a straight line and i think i would have counted 1 to 10 when u asked me to recite the ABCs, much less backwards. Thanks to all my peeps who were there for me in my stupeour. Vaguely remember someone slapping me and telling me to shut up. lol cant remember who. tonuge must have been damn loose. School. Lolz.. this semester is gonna be one hell of an expierence. Higher maths, Materials, FYP. Hope ill be able to go through all that with my sanity.. haha.. Everything's so difficult now.. no more like the previous 2 years of honeymoon. Time to wake up my idea and start mugging like well, a mugger. haha... New Creation Church. A New lease of Life. funny how God works. One of my new year resolution this year was to do daily devotion. And God provides. He provided me with such a momumental impact on my first visit to NCC that since that day, i've been craving for his word and revealations everyday. I've never felt so fulfilled and WHOLE in my life before. Much more than any material wealth i've received. He's the only One i seek and praise. That One who died on the cross for me so that i may enjoy his blessings and stand righteous before God for he has redemned all of my sins. For as long as i shall live, I shall Testify your Love. Live By Faith And Not By Sight. |
