Okay. time for another entry. Lots to blog, no idea where to start. *Starts Cramming*

Grad Day
Well, May '07 is finally here, and Graduate i have. Memories will surely stick onto me for a pretty long time. I treasure the bonds formed and look forward to maintaing them in the years to come. Pretty 'cool' wearing the robe.. First batch in Polytechnic's history seh. I suppose it must account for something. haha. And damn. I make myself a promise that in my next instituion of study, im gonna make sure i do my best to get honours. Why? Cos the ppl who grad with merit GET BETTER FOOD AT THE RECEPTION! Basket right... Did i mention they have a private air-conditioned function room where they rub shoulders with lecturers, while the rest of us rubs shoulders in the sweltering heat outdoors with well, Each other -.- Don't get me wrong tho. I'm not jealous or anything.. I'm just itching to know how it feels like to Not be just another name on a long list of people. =]

Work
Well, works turning out fine. I suppose. Altho i do long for a whole day spent in bed. hahah. Don't we all? I'm so groggy and zoned out in the morning, that i look like i just woke up. (like duh =D) My standing hair in the morning doesnt exactly help too haha.. Its only after i come back from breakfast that my day slowly starts to brighten up. Quotations, packing, retrieving and organsing. Pretty much the same stuff. I need something to spring up and break the monotomy. -.- Thats why i needa head to India! Right i see a few of you are lost. Two words to aid. Business. Trip. Would'nt say more.

NUS indoor coming soon man. i couldnt have choosen a better time to crank up my poundage... Sigh. Thank Goodness im stopping work soon so ill have relatively sufficient time to train. My Rachel is starting to get pretty wild in my hands. Gotta tame her.

Catched Spiderman 3 with Aidah and Pirates with Jie and Yaz. Good shows? Definitely. A tad long for both tho. Hope the third installment for Shrek wouldnt be as draggy. And can i use this opprtunity to say that i watched Pirates of the Carribean: At World's end twice? So what ur thinking. Well, My first time watching Anything twice. This would probably go down in the records book of my life. hahhaha...
Went shoe shopping with aidah last week. Man. i didnt expect myself to be semi flatfoot. Tempted to buy that aasics running shoes.. Drooling and contemplating. haha.. Maybe After i get my may's pay hehe. I'm not one to spend blindly and on impulse aye?
Had a real good time this saturday. Headed to velocity for ice cream courtesy of Sio (for both ice cream and ride home =]) If ur reading this, Thanks alot dude! Really glad to be able to acquainted with ya, albeit through Bernice. =) And man. Jie's departure date is on 12 June. =[ Thats like barely half a month left on this sunny island. Gotta jio her out for coffee/chill session asap. hahaha.
Well, that just about wraps up this one. Finally, CONGRATULATIONS to my beloved daughter Hui Yun! Looking at what you went thru and how you turned out, i only got one word. Blessed. Blessed and STILL being blessed. Hope you'll use this experience as a testimony to how Great our God is. =] And stop terrorising the kids into taking pictures with you la! hahahha... Oh yes. I pray God will show you which door to take in due time =]

Well, yes. i Have time now, and i WILL blog about fish.. balls.. haha.. Okay. so they're suppose to be together but what the heck, i practice free speech(words) on my blog.

Fishball Noodles. This is MY favourite spot for fishball noodles. THE place. Definitive. Firstly the food is just so bloody good that it ranks and in fact rivals Soba from Paragon on my list of ultimate comfort food. Yes. Its THAT tantalising and those who know me well enuff know how much i like the soba there.

Let me elaborate on how mesmerising this place is. Just the mere thought of having this bowl of fishball noodles in the morning springs me outta bed every tuesday. And you KNOW how hard it is to pry me outta bed even with a crowbar and a marching band to go with it. So! Allow me to tease u just a teeny bit.

Doesnt seem like much right? now see it transform before ur very eyes.....

No. its not chilli. Althought i must say the chilli there is way up there. Its tomato sauce by the way.

What i like about this stall, is Its owner. The guy is just passionate about the food he creates. Everything from the ingrediants to customer feedback, his merticulous-ness just impressed me. His food satisfies the stomach, but his personality and PR skills just completes the package. Just watching him craft out each bowl of noodles is just mesmerising. So much heart. And i guess thats what makes the difference between every chef arnd the world. Well, lets go on to the important part. The food itself =]

From what i know, this guy has two different kinds of chilli. A special one that he fries, and a normal watery one. The special one is of course, for his *ahem* prefered customers. =P And dont ask me. I dont know what he puts in it. But its just heavenly. The tomato sauce, the chilli and sauces he mixes together blends so well with the noodles its almost like cream. And with some chillies in light soya sauce to go with it, Man, its the reason i wake up every tuesday. (Yes. my dad and i have breakfast rituals. we have a fixed place to go every week. In fact, every since work, i look foward to breakfast at 10.10am wahhahaha)

The soup that has lettuce, fishballs, ba chor(minced meat) and fishcake, just completes the meal. Its the perfect partner for the noodles. noodles too dry? Spill some over onto it. Washing ur palate? Nothing else cleans it better. (Well, okay, Teh, the quintessential morning boost does a pretty good job too) Here's a lil smth to whet ur appetite.

How to get there? Now thats a tough one. It's somewhere along racecourse road. In one of the shophouses. Not easy to find i have to admit.

Thats all i can provide honestly.. ahha.. If u want, give me a buzz ill be more than happy to bring u there. =]

The Stall Owner Working His Magic

Dad having an animated conversation with The owner( They know each other pretty well. And he takes my dad's opinions seriously) Also, do check the stall's name for more info. i think i came across a site that has similar reviews. =]

Till the near future,

Bon Appetite!
