Thursday, July 12, 2007 Well now, you don't think this avid blogger is going down before one last swan show right? Right you are. I'm hours away from enlisting and still not sleeping. ahha.. Well, who can eh. hehe. 'Are you prepared?' Too many people have been asking me that question. Can anyone be ready for the unknown that lies ahead? YES! With God as my wingman, Everything is possible inside there. Much thanks to Anthony and his cell for praying over me. Much MUCH thanks to all those out there who are constantly praying over me thru this two weeks. Your prayers, WILL sustain me. Don't just pray for my welfare, but pray i'll be a changed man when i come out. Pray i'll be a MAN. hahaha.. Take care peeps. Jesus is your everything. Just as He is my everything inside there. =) With His rod and his staff( staff and staff of angels hehe) I'll be fine. I'll be TRANSFORMED from glory to glory. =] Tuesday, July 10, 2007  Well, it seems like the time has come for me to serve my nation. Anticipation setting in, nervous-ness and excitement too, albeit healthy doses. The past two weeks had been fun. Meeting up with friends and many of them taking the initiative to ask me out to celebrate my precious few days as a civillian was very very precious to me. Guys, you rock man. Really. And to those who wanted to jio me out but couldnt cos of my packed schedule, well, just chill guys & gals, ur good intentions are not forgotten =] Just keep me in ur prayers and i'll be more than grateful. =D Anyone who HASNT watched Transformers, PLEASE GO CATCH IT! Call it childhood nostalgia if u want, but seeing optimus prime transformed again kinda put the chill back in the word Cool. haha. Plot was rather okay. i wouldnt say it was all bad, neither would i say it was all good, but the action scenes are MARVELLOUS. No show has gripped me on the edge of my seat so intensely before. Michael Bay can Really blow shit up. haha.. From the ending, sequels are a definite possibility, and i read somewhere that two are planned in the making. Woo Hoo! And Thank you SO much aidah for treating me to the movie. I hoped you *doubly* enjoyed it as much as i did. haha. Had a gathering sunday night with church mates. Kinda like a final dinner to bid me a fond farewell for the next two weeks? haha.. had lotsa fun with the camera and the face warp function. Pity i didnt save any of them. then i could have held those vain girls at ransom. Muahahaha.. =P jk jk.. Don't stone me just yet. Food at lao beijing was great too. Much better than the standard at Novena square, which i personally felt has dropped in standard. Food last sunday was better tho. The buffet at sakura was really generous and abundant, altho sacrificing in extravagence to compensate its low cost. But no complaints from this foody here. Qudos to Shijia's mum who remembered that there was a Sakura in the town area, else, we would be travelling to some place where *i quote chenlu* 'the birds dont lay eggs'. hehe.. Well, today was rather well spent. I can finally say that i have hiked from MACRITCHIE all the way to the top of the SUMMIT of BUKIT TIMAH. And outta all the hikes i've done, THIS! is the worse ever. Even tho we started at mactrichie and not my house, the finall kilometer up the damn hill was horrid. nearing the top i swear my heart was trying to hammer itself outta my ribcage to give me an earful on the poor living conditions it gotta put up with. the slopes were inclined at ridiculous angles and hiking up them was nothing short of labourious. But! I still managed to get up the top. albeit with much help and encouragement from yaz. =] Getting down was also a pain.. i felt that if either of took a wrong step, we'll tumble right down. Yes it was That Steep. And bro! PLEASE! No running up the damn slope! So Much To Look Forward To. So Much To Leave Behind. .jpg)    DO NOT DISTURB THE SLEEPING COW. =P |
