Thursday, August 09, 2007 Wooo been close to a month since i posted now right? Well, national day today and that means one thing doesnt it? BOOK OUT! but, to burst my own bubble that means booking IN tonight.. haha.. its been a fruitful 4 weeks, well, close to 4 weeks and so much has happened that i dont think i even want to blog it down. i HAVE tho, been keeping a personal diary detailing each days events, albeit with a few days of lapses when im just too tired to carry even a pen. But briefly, ill just say that im doing things i cant possibly imagine. Im pushing myself to my limits and beyond and never expected to do the things i've done. Physical limitations is nonsense. It the continuing pushing factor that counts. Pain is a lie. It's merely weakness leaving the body. and Come to think of it, it actually reaches the point of enjoyment. Sick isnt it? You feel most alive when ur body is aching everywhere. All the nerves light up like a christmas tree and ur feeling things u never thought possible. I'm counting 7 blisters on my right foot alone which accumulate from my route marches. Damn those dreaded route marches. more imptly, damn that field pack. Even tho its just 4 weeks, i got a rough idea of how im gonna complete these two years. It's gonna be one defining moment after the other. Next up, 8 day field camp. wooooo~ 6 days w/o bathing and being temporal neighbours with ants, insects and just abt everything u can think of that goes crunch. Sam ~07 |
