Tuesday, October 24, 2006 - Chopsticks - Well, hols today was well spent i guess.. hadnt been feeling so well in so long. Looks like the long weekend helped alot.. Was needing some help over some issues of recent "internal disturbances", and never to fail me, My God answered me today with Ecclesiastes 3. Believe it or not, i was still slightly fretting until i just open my bible to a random passage. Ecc. 3 just jumped out. "To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven." It goes on to give examples of such times. It got me thinking. Was it time yet? How do i know if its time yet? But Thank the Lord for he showed me what this passage Really meant. It wasnt just about something simple like saying everything has its time. It was saying have patience. Like every season of the year, it takes time to change. Like every season of the year, each has its own advantges and activities exclusive to it. I felt God was telling me. Don't rush head first into things. Enjoy the season for everything will come to pass. dun regret not enjoying this season. Don't be too hasteful in rushing from one season or time to the other. Don't let the Spirit of haste come over you. I guess sometimes we do rush into things without thinking or planning too carefully. How fast we can do it preceeds How well we can do it. haha.. quoting Pastor Prince's sermon here.. those who are free can check out the video sermon "Nuggets of God's grace in The feeding of the 5000."at www.newcreation.com.sg What to do now? Rest Eaaaasssy i guess. And trust God's plan for my life, to put me at the right place and the right time for everything. Oh yes. Happy B'day Jia Ying! Have an Everlasting Eighteen. =] Time to Let Go & Let God. "Therefore I say to you, Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will receive them." Mark 11:24 |
